Its not a smokehouse, they have packets of smoke flavor BBQ sauce to put on your food if you want.

Not sure what smoke flavored packets of bbq sauce you are talking about, not sure where you get that info. Come and let us show you our process.

I think they make their own BBQ sauce. They have it so you add to your meal, or pour into cups to take home. It's really good sauce. Wonder if it is home made, secret sauce. No packets.

I'm not sure which Scooter's you are talking about but that's certainly not the Scooter's Smokehouse BBQ in Conifer on 285.

The squeeze bottles contain BBQ sauce, like all BBQ restaurants that make their own BBQ sauce.

Scooter’s Smokehouse has the best, most authentic (smoked onsite) brisket I have ever had up here. And the fried fish on Fridays is delicious, too! We are sooo lucky to have this awesome family up here serving our community! Thank you, Scooter’s Smokehouse! (O, and I think the fish is catfish or cod - and it is battered)

Yes, both cod and catfish are breaded upon ordering. Yes, the bbq sauces are made in-house. The Carolina Mustard bbq sauce is gluten free as well. If you haven't tried Scooter's, come give us a try. Thank you to all who have dined with us, we appreciate it!!

Ate there yesterday, good folks and good food. I know the struggle of running a family food establishment and they are doing a great job, I wish them all the luck. Often times people just do not understand how hard it is to live your dream through a restaurant or whatever, I bet they easily work 90-100 hours a week each to deliver good food to your table and make people happy. Probably on very small margins as well....

Everytime We try to go to Scooters they are closed. Very frustrating. We had to go to town to get some Bbq. They have always been closed on Sunday and Mondays. Now they are closed on Tuesdays and they were closed today. Who closes on a Saturday. It is sad when a lot of restaurants are closed on the weekends or they close at 3 in the afternoon.
