Yep...just like a dog to do that. Isn't that why we love them?

One of my terriers, Lola, went with me to the car wash in Bailey. I made the tactical error of leaving the truck running, with Lola inside, because I just had a quick rinse to do. Lola stepped on the power door lock button. Locked me right out. Had to borrow Barb's car (from the Knotty Pine) to run home and get my other set of keys.

Lola passed a few years ago. I wish she was still around to lock me out again.

I have a similar story as you BG. I was watching my grand dog Maggie - pretty much a Basset Hound mix. I look out the back window and she's out of the fenced yard on the street behind the house "feasting" on a big pile of horse doodoo. YUCK! I jump in the car and grab Daisy and we drive up and she's still "feasting" - I open the back of the car to grab Maggie and Daisy jumped out, eventually got them both in the car - minus the horse doodoo. The car is running but I wanted to inspect the fence to see where she got out.

Just as I walk off, I hear "CLICK" - Maggie was wagging her tail - smiling at me with her big foot on the door lock! Luckily I had left one of the windows down just a bit and was able to wiggle my arm in and then at the elbow, bend it down and BARELY was able to pull up the door lock!
