Post subject:  Please Return the Cutthroat Tip Jar

I eat frequently at the Cutthroat in Bailey and would always put a dollar or two in the tip jar that you (IHS) used to maintain there. The jar was removed some time back, and I am told (by multiple people who work there) that it was removed for political reasons (during the last election). I won't get into details, and I am certainly not inviting any political discussion here. I just want to lodge my plea to bury the hatchet and return the tip jar for those of us that like the convenience of donating small amounts to your cause. I am sure you don't get large amounts from that jar, but it is at least something, and I do not like the idea of the poor animals at your shelter being deprived of anything due to a misplaced political beef. Thank you!

Just wanted to update that the donation jar is still there. Thanks for donating Keg. It might have been missing while they updated the jar/box for donations.

Hi Keg! First, Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention! We want to let everyone know that IMHS under no circumstances would ever take any action based on political belief. As a non profit we are solely concerned for our mission of saving and helping as many animals in need as we possibly can. We love and appreciate all of our incredible local businesses for allowing our donation boxes to have a place there and we do not engage in any form of political discourse.

Rest assured that we do have a donation box there at Cutthroat Cafe that we intend to keep there as long as they will have it and this unfortunate misunderstanding will be addressed immediately.
