This afternoon saw a mobile sign that said speed limit lowering to 25mph right after you turn off 285. Does anyone know what section and/or why the change?

I would fathom it’s to accommodate the cars coming in and out of the new businesses.
Pulling out of those driveways into slowed traffic makes sense.

Probably because of Dozier's new road.

do you really believe the speed limit should be 25 mph all the way up 43?
If so, I think you're living in a world that doesn't include reality!

Since most people like to drive 10-15 mph over the posted limit on CR 43 then sure why not all the way.

But even if it was just from 285 to Buggy Whip that would be awesome! :applause:
Or even to the school.

My reality would be sweeter if people drove the speed limit. :praying:

It's 35 now, in that area, or has been, I didn't notice a change. I think that's an acceptable limit, it's been my experience that most don't exceed that. Lowering it to 25, would seem to be nothing but a "feel good", or revenue generating tactic.

Yes, I believe it...the road to my house is 25 mph and that's for 7 miles.

I'm pretty sure it will only apply to CR 43A. With all of the new business going in, the change makes a lot of sense. 25 MPH through the valley on CR 43 would just be silly.

Exactly. Many, if not most, drive 35-55 in the upper Valley now. A 25 mph limit would probably get people killed.
But with all the construction west of the light, a moderated limit will be necessary. As always.... it will be interesting.
