Our sweet sweet Misty still needs a foster home. She did not move to her possible foster
as they decided that they unable to help her up/down the stairs after much conversations
and checking in and reviewing her care needs.

She is a loving sweet girl to all humans BUT she prefers to be an only dog (at this time)
and we know she has a prey drive... so no kitties. Can you help us and be her foster home so we
can get her into her next surgery?

She just came out of her lumps and bumps surgery and she is healing. Now we need to get her stable to
get her ready for her ACL surgery.

Misty needs a home that can help a 50+ pound girl up/down stairs (if you have them) and if she has an episode
(not a seizure) but an episode. It is like if you or I got up too quickly from sitting. She needs help up. It could be
from the bullet in her head (unable to be removed or it is a symptom of syncope, like low blood pressure.)

Contact EAPL eaplevergreen@eapl.com if you can help us and be her medical foster home! Don't let a few little medical
issues stop you from getting to know this amazing sweet loving girl who only knows how to do a bootie wiggle! EAPL
covers all of her medical with our assigned vets and her food.

She is such a love we cannot say enough about her amazing spirit.

Good Morning Everyone, it is Monday and we are still searching for a foster home for sweet Misty.

Did I mention that she fancies herself a lap doggie? You do not need extra snuggle blankets, she will add the extra warmth for you in the colder days! Did I mention she gives the best kisses? Did I mention she just loves pets? Did I mention she is silly and goofy?

OK she does have a quirk or two --- she is not good with kitties and she prefers to be the princess for right now - she is not feeling too good because she is in some pain until we can get this surgery done! She is on pain meds!

EAPL (Evergreen Animal Protective League) will cover ALL of her vet care, her physical therapy, her food etc. We just need someone to give her love, and a safe home to recover in? Is that YOU?

Email me at eaplevergreen@eapl.com if you can help us by fostering this big sweet loving girl.

Poor girl!! My house is full, but I will ask on Nextdoor (3,600 members). We were just talking about what kinds of items IMHS can use, like towels and blankets.

Any and all spreading the word for Misty is appreciated!
She is a very very sweet snuggly girl and just wants loves BUT needs
surgery so we have to get her settled.

Are you still looking? I hope she's already set, but if not, I know someone who might be able to help. She needs to know about how long Misty would need to stay. Until she's adopted, or just through recovery?

We are looking for a foster home until she is adopted ideally so we do not need to keep moving her around (or until end of life if she is hospice.)

We received some "not so good news" last week at her check up she re tested positive for heartworm (again) and it may delay us again being able to put her under to do the acl and mammary glands/lumps/bumps & spay surgeries... We did have to do a very light sedation on Friday and they did a punch biopsy on one of lumps as it was very suspicious looking. This poor baby.

We are awaiting all the tests results next week for more in-depth info for a better idea of timing.

Please have anyone interested contact us at eaplevergreen@eapl.com Even if someone might be interested in helping us with a hospice dog (which she might end up being considered) EAPL covers all the medical and food, we just need a home to sprinkle in the love and care.

Thank you for reading.

Just heart breaking. I figured you wanted a home for more than just recovery. A failed foster would be best. I will get back to the lady on the thread (maybe others will see it) and remind her to contact IMHS directly. I am not sure she could do anything for very long because of her current dogs.

Thank you everyone for spreading the word. We have found a foster home for her.

She had the first of her surgeries yesterday for her lumps removed and she is resting comfortably.
