With every snow, there are at least a couple people who fall so hard on their own driveways, that someone has to call 911 for them for emergency medical assistance. This is just in Morrison and Conifer, alone. Imagine how many more there are in Bailey who don’t get help. I’ve even heard calls where a fall victim lays there for awhile until someone notices and calls for help. Most often, it is an elderly person.

Would it be possible to get some volunteers who could help someone in their neighborhood even once, or once in awhile? Just shoveling walkways around the house would help a lot of people.

Answer the poll above and let’s see if we can come up with something. Post below, or if you prefer, send me a PM for what you need or how you can help.

there is a sweet couple on pine dr. it is the first house on the right. I help clean their house. They really need this kind of help if anyone is available. The husband fell this last snow and she had to call 911.

I could use some help plowing my drive - will pay, not asking for donation. Had a plow guy who would just show up, but he's not in business any more. Senior with heart and lung problems, so shoveling myself isn't an option. Pretty depressing after living up her 33 years.

update - found someone. Thanks D&D!

Frustrating to be snowed in but one of the things I love here is that if I am not well enough to shovel there is no one at my door handing me a ticket!
Same in the summer, bunnies & deer love the dandelions and so do I. Again, if I am laid up, no one at my door if I let the yard grow. The yard looks pretty either way and no water waste.

Could people please PM me if you could help with your neighborhood location so we can keep everybody as close together as possible?

If you could use some help, would you PM me with the same, your approximate location?

A lot of people are happy help if they just know which house to go to. Volunteers feel good when they can give someone a hand.

All names and information will be held in strict confidence.
