We have been customers for about 6 years. I'm in shock, he was way too young. RIP Paul.

I heard from Paul's billing agent that his family is looking into sending someone out to continue the business. Don't know the final answer yet, but that would be great as Paul was the only one doing house-side pickup for our elderly and disabled residents. If you didn't know, Paul grew up in a family that did this same service in California.

A Shyanne Smith on facebook says the business has officially shut their doors and is closing effective immediately! I would hope someone would take the business over - I would think it would certainly be worth something! I'm not a current customer but PMB provided a great niche service and the area needs more than one viable trash company for competetion!

Hi-

I saw the same post from Shyanne Smith that was posted yesterday afternoon, but as of last night I was under the impression they are trying to figure out how to continue the business. I hope they can-

There was a post by Shyanne Smith on Facebook last night that basically said they were closing the business completely yesterday. They might try to finish picking up trash this week but that is questionable. Shyanne Smith did say that all PMB waste customer should find a new trash service immediately.

We used his services for 3 years at Crow Hill Cafe. We had an issue once where he was unable to pick up our trash for a couple weeks and then accidentally double charged us (we payed for 2 months instead of one) the following week. Paul ended up giving us about 3 months worth the service from free. When he found out we were being forced to close the cafe, He simply quit billing us.. He was a good man and will be missed!

This from Shyanne Smith:

Good morning. A heartfelt thank you & deep gratitude to all who have expressed their condolences regarding the unexpected & tragic passing of Paul Beliakoff of PMB Waste Solutions. I wish he could be here to read all of the loving, kind comments you have all made, to see the love that you all had for him & to realize what a valuable member of our community he was. I will miss my dorky, quirky friend forever & a day, but I am okay knowing he is no longer in pain. Some of you have asked about Lilly, his ever present feisty little companion Dachshund who went everywhere with him. She has found another loving, safe home here in our community & for that I am grateful. Paul's remains will be returned to his family in his home state of California, but we will be having a memorial in his honor over the next few weeks. Pls stay tuned for details to follow. From the bottom of my heart - thank you all again & pls take care of each other.

Paul was a friend and good local business owner. I personally talked to him many times. My thoughts go out to his family and his employees whom I know will miss him as well. Rest in peace.

Sorry to hear of Paul's death, condolences to the family.
Like many others we had the trash service set up on auto pay. Does anyone know if someone is handling cancellation of those transactions.
I called my bank and was told I could not cancel, I would have to get a new card or the merchant would have to cancel.

I find it unbelievable that you can't cancel someone taking money routinely from your account. That may be the case but seems a little backwards to me.

Yeah I know, pretty stupid I'd say! But that's what they said.
