Steve, FB reminded me that its been two years. Anniversaries of these kinds can be very difficult. I know this. So many of us know this. I just wanted to let you know that Kim, lovely funny gifted Kim, is still a part of everyone she touched and we are better for all she shared. And it feels good to remember these things she gave us.

Kim was on my mind and in my heart when I fell asleep last night, and I awoke with thoughts of her this morning.

I have so many memories of her posts that burst with life, love of nature, good humor. She shared it all so freely with many people here in the gardening, pet and wildlife forums, the basement and living room... To realize her dear heart was so empty in those final moments, when she was so deeply loved, admired, appreciated....its a cruel paradox.

Steve this is a picture that I have always had in my head when I see a post by Kim. Its a reflex for me, its the avatar she can never escape or change because its so much of what she loves and its where her spirit resides now.

High mountain pass, a riot of flowers and a happy dog.

Kim, our deep sorrow. We didnt know. We would give the world to have had a chance to make it a little better as YOU did for us so many many times...

that was one of my most favorite pictures ♥ I think of Kim at the oddest times, usually when discovering a new flower to put in my flower beds and that has been often this year.
♥ We loved Kim and we love you, Steve ♥

Oh gosh here come those tears again. I miss her soooooo much. I think about her and talk about her often.

I usually picture her in her greenhouse with a huge beautiful grin, oozing playfulness, radiating such a love of life and all of nature's wonders.

I have to repost this picture of her that Mr Hermit posted a couple of years ago. It certainly captures some of her precious energy and her beauty.

Thank you all for you’re memories of Kim, you folks are amazing. I too have been a little sad for the past week or so, September 20th would have been our 9 year anniversary, and the 25th as you know marks 2 years since her death.
I fight the saddest, and remember all the things we did together, and how greatful I am to have had her in my life.
She lives on within me, and I cherish the memories.
I will continue to keep her flowers safe and happy inside the greenhouse, and also continue to have starters each spring.
I still have Daisy, the dog in the meadow filled with flowers. She and Kaylee are my two best buddies.

Steve

She was very special. When I first met her, she came by the house to bring me some tomato plants. We talked for a bit and I gave her a hug. She was stunned! She said she did not expect that and I asked why and she could not say but it was a nice experience. We waved from that point on when we saw one another around Woodside.

I no longer live in the area and I know that if I did, I would miss her waves and hellos! I hope you are resting in peace dear Kim.
