:rose: Marjorie Elinore Tinkey
Longtime resident Marjorie Tinkey of Bailey, Colorado passed away peacefully in her home with family at the age of 87 on Feb. 11, 2016.

Marge was born March 24, 1928 in Englewood, CO. She was always very proud to be a Colorado native. Marge met her husband Ed at a dance. They were married Jan. 27th, 1946. They stayed in the Englewood area for 27 years raising their two children. Marge enjoyed bowling in several leagues, even after they moved to Bailey. She was President of the VFW ladies auxiliary in Sheridan, CO. Marge & Ed moved to the Bailey area in 1973. She was a longtime member of the Bailey Lioness Club, including participating in the Bailey Day’s activities with the Lion’s. Marge had her hand in putting together the gift baskets that were donated through the Holidays for those in need. She was always there, donating her time for the 9 Health Fair for several years. Marge truly loved the Bailey community & those within it. She loved her Broncos’, always looking forward to game day. She was an avid supporter of police & fire dept’s, as was proven when Ed gave her a real fire engine for her 65th birthday.

Marge was preceded in death of her husband, Ed of 68 years. She is survived by her children, Pamela (Bill) Innes, Edward “Butch” (Susan) Tinkey II; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren & 4 great-great grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday, Feb. 18, with 9:30 a.m. visitation & service at 10:30 a.m., at Olinger Chapel Hill, 6601 S. Colorado Blvd., Centennial CO; & then on to Ft. Logan cemetery.

A tribute to Marge and to leave a memory or comment is at http://www.olingerchapelhill.com. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mt. Evans Hospice.
