There is a donkey or mule loose in KZ Ranch. He normally lives in the large KZ Ranch pasture but there is a damaged fence and he's loose now, standing in front of the vacant house by the mailboxes on Rising Sun. Anybody know who he belongs to? Or have a contact number for the ranch that owns that pasture?

Is it Moses?

I made a call, we'll see about getting him home.

We got the KZ Ranch folks aware of Moses being out.
They went and got him on a lead and are walking him back to the pasture.
All is well!

Moses is a "gated" riding mule and is a friendly critter!

Thanks for paying attention! That is what pinecam is all about!

Yes, that is Moses. Does anyone know if he made it back to the pasture? This is our mule and we do not live close but we will drive out and catch him if he is still loose.

Thanks, I was typing my post when the other was posted. We will go check on him anyway. Thanks for all who helped catch him (not hard to do because he is so friendly and food motivated!)

This is "our buddy" Moses!

This was our Christmas card for 2012!

You are right!
Moses is a sucker for soft horse cookies.
He recognizes all of our cars and plods over to the fence.
We only give him a few at a time - and he "stomps" his front hoof asking for more as we drive away!

Love him! :exactly:  :rose: :wavingflag:

Glad he got home! I wasn't sure if he was approachable or not - he and our dog have a love/hate relationship and bristle at each other through the fence everytime we walk him through the neighborhood. I have no idea why, they've never met up close
Now I know I can bribe him with a treat if he gets loose again! ;)

What a great Christmas card he makes, along with the crow, of course! :)
