Interested in trail horse riding?
Come to observe or help on our ride in Buffalo Creek. Thanks for volunteering.
You'll need to bring clothing for inclement weather and a lawn chair to sit on. Sometimes we get to the p&r stop well before the riders. We'll provide lunches, drinks and snacks.
Transportation to the stops will be provided but if you prefer you can drive yourself and other helpers if you can. The places don't require off road vehicles.
Also bring a watch you can count 15 seconds on. That is the amount of time that we use to take the p&r.
We'll provide the stethoscope to hear the pulse . We'll teach you how to read the p&r and you can choose which you prefer to do, pulse or respiration. There are also other jobs like handing out water etc. We usually have youngsters to help too.
You'll need to be in camp before 7AM to get oriented and make a lunch from the fixens. You can camp out for free.
You can also stop by on Friday afternoon to get acquainted with the workings going on and watch the judges do their check in . You can walk around and talk to any competitors .

Let me know of any specific questions.
