We popped in today as well, with an out of town guest. Food was great, as always. Best wishes to the soon to be newlyweds!

Had lunch there today and very good. :wiggle:

Will be great to have another bar and lounge around. Let us know when it is up and ready :applause:

My suggestion to owner. You need more lunch choices besides the salads. I am sure you will get to that after your wedding this weekend. Congratulations and God Bless your marriage. :multi:

if you are on FB, you should go like their page, and if you have eaten there, you should consider leaving a rating and review. local businesses depend on social media to get the word out. between Pinecam and Facebook, many more folks with know about them.

Mrs. BGR and I enjoyed a great breakfast at The Shaggy Sheep this morning!

She has to eat GF and seriously enjoyed the Baked Avocado with Egg over French fries!
This egg is done in the avocado pit cavity and is similar to poached egg but whites are firmer.
She LOVED it!
Her coffee was good and robust - just the way she likes it!

I ordered 2 Eggs "over hard" with Bacon and tomato slices (sub. for potatoes) plus English Muffin with Jam.
I am picky about my "eggs over hard" although I usually eat anything that comes to the table.
The proper (IMHO) way to cook this is to break the yolks and only cook them until they are not runny.
They should NOT be fried to crispy death!
This morning my eggs were 100% PERFECT!
Bacon (3 slices) were cooked PERFECTLY to crisp (NOT burned) and NOT GREASY!
They served me a small cup of homemade peach jam - which was FANTASTIC on the English Muffin!

The BGRs are quite excited about the culinary skills at The Shaggy Sheep!
The menu is somewhat limited - which is OK with us when what comes out is prepared so well.
For breakfast - be there before 11:30 a.m. or settle for the lunch menu.

These are nice people who really care about their new business!
We will be happy to support them when we are going that way.

Tastiest spicy skillet I've ever had ! Great job!
I agree with BGR's, coffee is good.
I'll be back!
(Just thinking maybe a warm flour tortilla or choice of toast etc. would have complimented this delicious meal tremendously. But then again my waistline really didn't need it :))

I also thought a warm tortilla would have complimented the skillet. We went over a month ago - not sure what I really thought.

We both ordered skillets but they didn't come in a skillet - on a plate. I'll give them credit for knowing how to cook over HARD eggs. We both ordered our eggs over EASY - Mr DL got both of his eggs over HARD (actually burnt crispy edges) and I got one over easy egg and one over HARD egg.

We were the only table in the restaurant and would have happily asked for new eggs but the server left and we waited and waited and waited and finally ate it before it got cold. Once we had eaten it, she came out to collect our plates (not skillets) - we also thought we might get to meet the owners since we were the only people there but no. We left and probably won't return. After all the great reviews, we were so excited to give them a try and we expected so much more. Maybe that was the problem? Don't expect so much and it will probably be ok.
