Just an idea. What about finding a musician or musicians, songwriter and singer or singers to make a special tribute song in Emily's name entitled:

" I LUV U GUYS "

This could be put on CD and sold as a fundraiser in behalf of Emily's family. Another idea would take it further and make a DVD with this song and memories of Bailey in her honor.

This is just an idea. Hopefully someone in this industry participates in Pinecam and would know how to make it reality.

I think the community would support it. What does Pinecam Land think?

I am not from your area but was there and on the way home to SC when we we heard the news reports..... in spite of the tragedy, you live in a great community with a lot of love and support!! I will continue to monitor this site and do my part to support your love for the family and their Emily!!! "A random act of kindness" should keep spreading through all communities.

What if we were all to stand outside of our homes, work, or cars and wave at the kids on the buses as they go back to school Thursday morning? Just to show community support for them continuing on.
Does this sound like a good idea?

I LIKE it!
That & maybe put up pink ribbons at your office/home.
Put one on your cars too! (I did, & my raggedy ol' beater looks so much better!)
Any visible signs of love & support on their 1st day back will be wonderful.
But we MUST remember that our community support MUST REMAIN visible for a long time.

We have the duty to support our kids as well as everyone else in the community. We ALL have to heal.
Not to mention how good it feels to do something positive.

LoBay Lady's post is absolutely correct and she knows what is going on with the kids. She has just a bit of battleline knowledge. I wish I could be at the school or on the highway tomorrow. Be Brave kids, Carry on. You will be in my thoughts all day long.

Platte Canyon volleyball team just got back from a game with Clear Creek. The girls over at Clear Creek gave each team member of the Huskies a beautiful rose.

Might be a bit late to suggest..but it was one of the ideas for Columbine when the kids returned to school...it was forgotten though as school did not start until the next year...

Well here it is...

Form a Circle of Hands around the school by Family and Parents...or at least at the main entrance. I thought it would be a great sight...Kind of like an Circle of Safety.
