Help Pinecam support our brave soldiers in harm's way. Show your pride for our troops by displaying a distinctive Pinecammer ribbon or wearing a bracelet that expresses our heartfelt appreciation for them. In doing so, you not only make a critical contribution to the morale of our soldiers, but help make it possible for us to cover the mailing costs of our shipments.

This is a magnet ribbon, 3 5/8 by 8 inches, that you can stick on your car, refrigerator, or whatever to show you support our troops overseas and that you're a proud member of the Pinecam Community.




Red Bracelet - $5.00
Show your deep appreciation of our troops by wearing this red bracelet everywhere you go.

You have two ways to purchase these ribbons and bracelets:

In Person
You may purchase ribbons and bracelets as well as make contributions of both comfort items and money at various fairs, functions, and Safeway during this spring and summer. Watch for announcements in this forum with information on where and when TSAC members and Pinecam volunteers will have a booth setup.

Please help us support our troops!

Purchasing a bracelet or a ribbon provides us with much-needed funds to help defray the cost of postage to Iraq. As you can see from my recent post in the B Co thread, the troops appreciate all of the things we send them. It boosts their morale to know that an entire community back here thinks and cares about them over there. Your contributions, both in terms of goods and funds make this possible.

You should feel a warm measure of pride in sporting your bracelet or ribbon or both. They identify you as a caring member of the Pinecam community wanting to express your support and appreciation for the day-to-day sacrifices our boys in Baker Company make 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and all in harm's way.

Please scroll to the top of this thread and place your order so that we can continue our expressions of love and respect for these fine soldiers.

Also, consider our table at the Conifer Safeway on Saturday, March 26th as a must-stop location and purchase your bracelet or ribbon there. Drop off a gift, say Hi, or just write a note to be included in our April 4th shipment to Iraq.

But if you decide you can't afford to help or contribute an item or write a note, then let a kind thought or a prayer on their behalf be your contribution. Contributions of the heart are welcomed here, and they mean much more than you think.

Think about a day out with your grandchildren. You go where you please, buy what you please, eat what you please.

Now think about a young American who works eight dangerous hours, gets eight hours off, and goes back to work. A powdered drink mix is a real treat, because there is no place to buy anything. If it's not too cold, it's miserably hot and windy. Jerky is a sought-after alternative to an MRE. If he goes outside, he must watch constantly in all directions for threats. He does this because it's his duty to keep us safe.
