My plans look like they are on the fence at this time as I was suppose to be rafting with the grandkids but the weather doesn't look too promising. I also have some materials as well if more are needed? Can you send me a PM to let me know they general area you are at?

C'mon folks, let's get a crew together to put up this fence for Jo. She has Always been there for other people needing help. Now it is our turn. You can spare a few hours to help out.

Can it be done on a weekday evening instead of a weekend?

I work during the week, I clean houses on bad knees, so frankly, Im exhausted by evening.
I wanted to weed whack and rake the area this weekend to prep it but with running to Bailey to meet people that ended up not showing and turning my ankle on one of hundreds of pinecones that needed to be raked, that didnt get done.

I wanted to be around to help. A few friends thought they could set the t-posts between now and Tuesday. Steve may have heard from them as he wanted to be here for them to set a line for them to follow. I don't know anymore then that.

Two fellows have said they could help this weekend. I have a few
" possibly, keep me in the loop " replies.

I know its a busy time. I know I have friends that want to help and just physically can not. And I feel bad that I even had to ask for help at this point. Ive always been a care giver and able to take care of my own stuff. So this has been a very humbling experience.

I live on a busy corner across from a school and one of my dogs is totally spooked and reactive. She has always been a flakey dog and since this move, she is the worst version of herself. I need a fence up before school starts.

And it will happen. Maybe not as neat and tidy a process as I envision it, but it will happen.

Thank you to all with ideas and input.

JMiller sometimes it takes a village......we all need to ask for help sometimes. I don't readily ask for help either and when I do it is difficult for me but I need to learn to graciously accept that help as well. I take pleasure in helping others as I'm sure you do too. Just look at it as your pups asking for help! :) You don't need to help after a hard day at work as providing water is help too.

I could help Sunday if it is still pending.

Post locations have been marked and one of Jo's friends will drive in the steel T-posts this week.

Hello everyone.
Just a little update. The gate posts will be set in concrete betwen today and Saturday. Thats all taken care of.

Sunday about 10:30 we'll pull and hang the wire fencing. This area is 30x100. Not huge.
The young man upstairs has it all cleared out for me.

I think we have plenty of help to make short work of this. But please PM to confirm so theres enough refreshments.

Including myself and Steve we have six and a tentative on cowgirl at this point.

Thank you all very much. :)
