She's my baby, but a foaling mishap means she can't jump anymore. (Nor would she be able to chase cows, do endurance rides, or gymkhana-type stuff.) Sound in all gaits, loves people (she'd be happy if you'd scratch her withers all day..) Best for an intermediate or above rider. Lovely mover, responsive, knows her lateral aids, been doing lower level dressage. (UPDATE: SHE'S SOUND EVEN OVER SMALL FENCES NOW. THE VETS SAID THAT MIGHT NEVER HAPPEN, BUT IN THIS CASE, SHE HAS RECOVERED VERY WELL, EXCEPT FOR HER APPEARANCE)
15.3-16 hands, dark bay, branded CW on one hip. She prefers to live outside 24/7/365, keeps easily on grass hay, friendly with herdmates, goes barefoot unless you're on really rocky pasture. To the right home, she'd be free. To the wrong home, she isn't available. I have lovely pix of her, and tiny videos, if you email me directly. Call or email if you'd like to talk about her, or come for a visit. Rebecca Gorrell 303 816 0464 Gorrell@q.com Last edited by Lobstergal on Sep 30, 2012 8:30 pm, edited 1 time in total. |

She certainly is.

Today I put Willow over a small cross rail several times. She did great, and showed no weakness or lameness. I believed the vets when they said she wouldn't be able to use her hind end that much. We certainly didn't jump MUCH, but she was as balanced and eager as she ever was. Hooray for vets being wrong sometimes! Still looking for that perfect home for her though. In the meantime, might consider a partial lease, if someone just wants an interesting horse to ride, indoors, this winter. She lives at Pleasant Ridge Farm, in Conifer.

Headed to a dressage schooling show with her next weekend, weather and babysitting dependent. She'd be a great horse for the right person.

Has she been out on trails? She is very pretty BTW. Does she like men? I would be very interested in her. I have many years of experience.
