Every year South Park City sells their unwanted overstock to make room for new collections. The sale of these items goes toward the maintenance and renovation of our buildings and collections. There are hundreds of items for sale at reasonable prices.

What time does the sale start?

Well, you know how "Yard Sales" go. No matter what time you say it starts, the "early birds" are there are the crack of dawn.

That said. we will begin setting up around 7:30 and no one with cash will be turned away. My best advice is to come early, as the best "Junque" goes quickly.

PS: I just recieved word that an early treadle sewing machine and Singers first electric sewing machine has been donated to the sale.

Today, we spent several hours staging out "junque" for tomorrow's big sale. There are far too many items to show what we have to offer, however, I have updated the "slide show" on the first page of this thread to give you an idea what to expect to find. We will begin setting up around 8:00 and everything should be on display by 9:00. Come early if you want the best "junque."

On a serious note, South Park City is a non-profit organization chartered to preserve Colorado's pioneering and mining heritage. All the proceeds from this sale will go toward the renovation and maintenance of our historic buildings and pioneering collections. Help us perserve some of the best pioneering collections and structures in Park County and Colorado by spending a little money toward a good cause.

And, if that was not enough, we will be selling hot dogs and water to help make your visit even more enjoyable.
