Also, if there are links in any post, if one is not logged-on, then you can't view the links--which is another reason that I prefer to not be logged-off.
This was a complaint a few weeks ago- we disabled the feature and now all users, logged off specifically- can see and follow links. You are the only one- logged off- who can't. I just tried IE, Firefox and Chrome logged off and followed links every time.

I would sure like for ItsoTech or Someone to take a look at your computer or Browser config specifically- you are the only user having these issues.

I am very interested in what behavior you report once you use Google Chrome.

While I doubt that I'm "...the only user having these issues...",(out of how many thousands of members?), I'm the only one currently posting about it. I plan to switch to Google Chrome tomorrow and will certainly let you know the outcome, Lazierfan.

Serenity; I'm currently using Internet Explorer, though I'm going to try using Google Chrome, perhaps that will at least speed things up ever so slightly?

My IP address is constantly changing since I use Wild Blue Satellite. I have found that Firefox is the only browser which keeps me logged into Pinecam. I'm interested in how Google Chrome works for you - it didn't work for me with Pinecam.

Very cool, LZ - I didn't realize this change was made and I just tried it and it works fine for me - when I logged off I can see the links :)

I was going to suggest the same as serenity - to use firefox. IE is super sensitive - maybe one of the advanced options for scripting or something is logging you off, doesn't really make sense, but there must be something in the configuration of your PC security settings or IE that is doing this.

Are you really using dial up and not DSL? I know pinecam is mostly text so I can see how it may work - poorly and slowly, but I guess you can get through some posts within a day :)

As requested, I have been experimenting with both IE and Google Chrome
to see if I could resolve the constant log-off issues I (and others), have been having.....

While I have never been logged-off while reading Pinecam through Google Chrome, it is much slower than IE! That could be because I am
on dial-up, I don't know, but since having to repeatedly log-in isn't that time consuming, I don't think just switching completely to Google Chrome is the answer.

P.S. I haven't tried Firefox yet.

Additional P.S., AspenLeaf, I don't know if this is the thread that you were
looking for as you stated in the shoutbox, but just in case....?

I am still curious to see if it will solve your problem...you are definitely a hard sell!
