"Stepping Out In the Moonlit Garden"
This year's OctoberPets quilt (cat-themed for you kitty lovers) will be in the live auction at the Evergreen Elks Lodge, Sept 7 starting at 5pm. Dimensions of the quilt are 55" x 55". 100% cotton fabrics and batting. Cuddle up with your favorite feline or display on a wall with the sewn in hanging sleeve. The design incorporates 432 patches in the body and pieced border. The quilting design (custom quilted by Bailey resident, Judy de Boer) suggests soft, evening breezes. Look closely at the texture of the full moon - created by classic Amish "pumpkin seed" quilting motif. A $400 value; the Evergreen Animal Protective League will receive 100% of the proceeds from this quilt. So make sure to SAVE THE DATE and come bid on this quilt to help needy animals and a stellar organization!
