Three weeks ago I posted a photo of this mushroom. How old it was at that time is a mystery. However, the "little guy" is still there, albeit a little worn from the rain, hail, and sunshine.

I found a batch of them on our property - the biggest was 16" across!! I don't have any idea if they are edible - but they are quite remarkable - just because of their size.

They are edible, but ya want to make sure they are the puffball type and not a look alike poisonous one.....
Edible when they are pure white inside, no discoloration. Very good sliced and fried in butter Yuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmy! I have only found small ones this year.
