I use this radar map to get an idea of where the rain is every day.

Yesterday, you could see rain all around us but most of it bypassed us here locally.

I was rather disappointed in the amount of rain we'd had here on the Mt. Bailey side of Burland, but today we're doing much better.

By the numbers -- here in Brook Forest for June we had .80 inches of rain compared to last year we had 2.9 inches. So far for July we have had 2.0 inches of rain - which fell since Friday. Last year in July we had 4.80 inches of rain. Historically July is our "rainiest" month with the summer monsoon.

If that's true, we're going to be getting a lot of rain the next few weeks!
