I've got 9 layers - 7 amerucanas almost 2 yrs old) and 2 barred rock (14 months). I let them out on the land for 4-6 hours each day. I clean the henhouse weekly.
A month ago I was getting 5-7 eggs/day - now I'm getting 3-6 eggs a day. Is that because of the hot weather? Nothing else has changed in their routine.

How is production for everyone else?

At 2 years +/- hens reduce their egg laying. Also the heat can have something to do with it too. They will keep laying, but just less. Since it is summer, I doubt it is the amount of daylight, which will also cause them to lay less.
