for anyone who might find this pooch, i walked him yesterday morning, he is a FRIENDLY dog, so have no fears! he didn't appear very treat motivated, so you might have to try something REALLY yummy to get him (hot dogs?)...
I'm actually surprised he pulled the old escape artist routine, he was pretty mellow for us. probably just a bit traumatized by new surroundings. steve-o, keep us posted! |

as of 11:00 the search continues
most in the area know due to the numerous signs, the face to face contact, or from pinecam the dog got out of his locked kennel - most likely up over the top and bolted out of the door when opened from the outside come on, puppy-dog, we're here to help you! |

this is apparently the same boy that was at large last week, taken in and now relinquished to IMHS and on the loose again, just closing the loop:

Penguin, since you walked him do you have a better description? There is some confusion about the color. We had a boxer mix I did not know at our house today and I called IMHS immediately, but there was quite a bit of confusion and by the time it cleared up he was gone again. Did check the area with my dog with no luck. I am in the Will-o-Wisp neighborhood.

The dog I posted about on my road last Tuesday, that was also seen on Delwood and ended up being picked up on 43 was a brindle boxer. Brindle in this case, is brown with black striping, not uniform, throughout it's coat. He has a large white patch on his chest. His ears are not cropped but his tail is docked. This same dog was turned in to IMHS and consequently escaped their containment. Below is a picture for an example of brindle coloring (this is not a picture of the missing dog):

Thanks for the update, Sunlightrunners. I'll drive around your area in the early morning. I drove through last Sunday after learning he had escaped. JMiller is correct that our boy looks similar to the picture she posted (and thanks). I don't think he had the white socks (and know this picture isn't him, but just something to show the coloring of a brindle), and I think ours looks a bit heavier than the one in the picture. The coloring is very similar. _________________
