How do we say a big enough thanks to the our Bailey Pinecam Heros!!!
They cared enough to post. They cared enough to allow us on their property multiple times calling out and searching for him. I did not ask permission to share their names or I would share them for certain... but they called out to their neighbors and were so kind to us.
These kind folks allowed us to put up the humane trap tonight and a few short hours later called us with the news that the black cat was howling in the trap.
With guarded excitement we drove the 4 miles to see if it could possibly be "Fat Louie" and it was. He went missing a month and a half ago.
We are so grateful. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! God bless you all.
Dont ever give up hope.

where in Burland?

Also check sheds garages etc, and look up... and listen.

Always possible that a cat got into a truck bed, anything and ended up elsewhere... so always check when a similar cat is found

He went missing in May - did he come home then and is missing now again? or was he never found since then? (just confusing since you have two threads)

Cat that looked somewhat like yours walked across my driveway yesterday - Yellow Pine & Bluebird. Walked west into the woods. Did not appear to be in distress.

Karen...
left you a message by phone. There has been a black and white cat roaming near our homes up here (we are in Burland) that does not seem to belong to anyone. Our neighbor says he/she comes to their door and actually looks in their house.

I saw him/her yesterday morning about 5 a.m. and heard an awful scuffle in the trees. I saw a black and white cat walking off into the trees between Eagle Trail and Upper Mockingbird.

He/she was meowing as it walked, so I am hoping the kitty was not hurt.

I left my phone number on voice mail.

You have reinforced the reasons why we moved back to Bailey.
I believe this last posting may have indeed seen Fat Louie. Too many markings as well as the low and drawn out Meow to be a coincidence. (Barely sounds like a meow!) Wow what hope has filled our hearts.
The kindness of the people living in Bailey warms my heart.
For all you praying folks... Join us in praying he wanders back through the two houses that have seen him hanging around the past couple of days. We pray that they are able to hold on to him and we can restore him to his 13 year old beloved owner (my daughter)!!! We miss him so.

Oh, I do hope this is your cat! Maybe someone can set a trap in the area?

we don't know if this is Louie or not, but all signs point to it. He has been near our home and the neighbor across the road. Yesterday I found out he also goes to two other homes and hangs out, so hopefully one of us will be able to lure him with tuna. :)
