Got my first hit on the 4G network in Evergreen tonight on the Droid (cell phone). It's been working in Indian Hills for several weeks. This tells me Verizon is moving with the upgrades into the foothills, as they represented when I bought the droid. Hit was in Marshdale along Hwy 73.

I say a "hit" as it's showing 4G, but not connecting, evidence they are working the system. Good progress for this era of connection electronically.

For those not familiar with this stuff, it's the wireless communication to the internet through a cell phone. The upgrade from the 3G network to the 4G network is a significant increase in speed which one can view online websites and other resources through a cell phone.

I'm near Evergreen lake, and I'm lucky if I get any signal at all.

4g will enable you to use your alloted bandwidth much quicker.
