Ah dang, surgery after all. What a bummer. Knee surgery blows because the recovery time is so long. Geez, 10-12 weeks is practically the entire summer. Not fair!
Please give us a shout, if you need anything. What hospital is she in?
Does she have a laptop or one of the newer notebooks/IPad? Most of the hospitals have WiFi and it will give her something to do. The hospital TV is crappy and can only satisfy for a short time. Maybe someone can loan her one? Mine saved my sanity last September after a lengthy stay. Wishing the best

There were several bad ortho breaks in Spalding with me. All sorts of hardware was used for patching. Sure hope Sundancer is receiving the type of care they were getting. I pray for the time to be short and go quickly for sundancer. She has a garden waiting for her.

I'm alive!!! What a great treat to read all of your good wishes and thoughts this morning. Ended up having to spend the night and it took us a while to get the pain killers worked out, but I think we're good now,(although I am sitting here with a plastic bowl, just in case).
My husband is a wonderful caregiver and he already has pots, soil and seeds waiting for me on the deck. 12 weeks is a long time, guess this is where I learn patience. What a wonderful resource Pinecam is and all of you wonderful friends!
