The Verizon Store in the Safeway Towne Center in Aspen Park-Conifer has a sign in their window "Now Hiring" when I walked by this evening.

I heard on the radio that Wal-Mart is opening new stores in Colorado. I tried to find a link for jobs, but they're not listed on the WM site yet.

The new Walmart stores are listed on the site. When you go in to apply it will ask what stores do you want to apply at. There is a new one on Bowles and Platte River Drive where Albertsons used to be. I applied over 3 weeks ago, before they announced anything on the news. Was surprised it was new. The others were on there too. I haven't heard a word from them.

The very last place you would ever want to work would be at Wal-Mart. I worked for them for 3 years and it was the most miserable employment I've ever had in my life. Wal-Mart views their employees like they do the cheap merchandise on their shelves-expendable, and replaceable. There is a reason that Wal-Mart has the highest turn over rate of employees of any retail outlet. Friday when I was in Safeway at Conifer they had 2 jobs listed, I don't remember the pay posted tho.
