Farewell to my sweet Cadeau on Nov. 14, 2018. She was less than 3 weeks from turning 17. She came to me from an ad here on Pinecam. Her previous people adopted her at age 10.5 from IMHS, kept her for 2 years then decided to move out of state to an apartment where they couldn't have a 60-pound dog. She was my perfect doggy, calm, quiet, so well-behaved and utterly devoted (if a bit stubborn at times!). She loved to run in the woods with her doggy friends and splash in the streams of our beautiful forest. Her name means "gift" in French and she was the greatest gift to me. I'm so grateful to have had four and a half years with her and miss her company and her loving looks so much. Rest well sweet puppy.

Oh No! Im so sorry. I met your sweet girl and it was obvious to me how much you two were connected. You gave the best possible place to land for the rest of her days. Peace to you and Cadeau.

Thanks so much. Here are a couple of pictures - the second is from her 16th birthday.

Yes, such a beautiful girl. :( We've been there a few times and understand the broken heart they leave behind.

I really am so sorry gjen - these little "people" leave a hole in your heart when they die.

Oh My - thanks for the photos - she looks lovable and so hugable.

We had to say goodbye to our sweet April today. She ruled our house for almost 15 years. She would have been 20 in April. She was the queen of boxes, laundry baskets and any pieces of paper she could find to lay on. You will be missed sweet girl.

So sad when we lose our furry ones. May your happy memories of her many years with you bring peace to your heart.
