Diesel;

You are a man of your word, Sir. Thanks for the generous donation Wayne received today. It will help a bunch. You have set an admirable example for other folks to follow.

My name is Russell and I am a member of the 45th Infantry Brigade. I got the web address (www.pinecam.com), in part of one of the care packages that was sent. I wanted to thank everyone involved for the support. Once again thank you. I means alot to us. :patriot: :patriot:

Godspeed, Russell. Don't be a stranger. We'd love to hear from you and the guys. We appreciate and respect the sacrifices you're all going through and hope that, in a small way, our little care packages make things just a bit more bearable.

Please be safe.

Henry

Care packages a help to troops
By Lora Abcarian, Editor
The Flume

BAILEY, Colo. Ed Burke had his hands full last week when he visited The Flume to collect several boxes of items donated to Pinecam for troops stationed in Afghanistan. The items had been donated by the Conifer Rotary Club.

"This is the biggest donation we?ve received," he commented as he shuttled between the office and his car.

Pinecam has adopted the 45th Infantry Brigade, stationed in the northern part of the wartorn country. The Flume is one of several dropoff locations in Park County for care packages.

Pinecam is looking for individuals and corporations/businesses to help defray shipping costs. To date, assistance has been provided by Park County Republican Women and Hobart's Foods. Pack 'N Ship, located in the Conifer Safeway Shopping Center, has donated mailing supplies.

Individuals interested in helping Pinecam defray mailing costs should send an email to cosmiccowboy55 or contact Wayne Harrison.
