:USA: :santa: TSAC Collection Day at King Soopers on Sat., Dec. 2 :santa: :USA:
Please stop by and visit with the Troop Support Advisory Committee (TSAC) and Pinecam volunteers at the Kings Soopers on Saturday, December 2, from 10:00 to 2:00. We will be collecting items to send to the troops. Money donations are also appreciated to help pay for the troop shipments. Click here for some suggested items to donate.

TSAC is not permitted to ship ANY opened/used items to the troops for safety and health reasons. Please be sure ALL donations are new and unopened.

This shipment will arrive in time for Christmas! Please help show the Colorado National Guard troops how much you appreciate their efforts and how much we here back home wish them a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.

Saturday will be a busy day in that part of the neighborhood!
Be sure to stop by our table, either before or after the Conifer Christmas Parade!
( :music note: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! :music note:)

What a perfect opportunity to send Holiday Greetings to our troops!
Here's a chance to tell them how much we appreciate their efforts, especially at a time when families are traditionally together.
Drop off some goodies, give a donation-($$$ is used to ship the items...Santa doesn't have room in his sleigh- so we have to send them the old fashioned way...snail mail!) and/or maybe drop off a card or two!

IDEA: You could always pick up a "Pinecam Supports the Troops" yellow ribbon magnet or decal too! (Great stocking stuffer!)

Stop by & say hi to TSAC!

This event's shipment will be made in time to arrive for Christmas. If you have something special to include, the 2nd is the time to do it. Please stop by and write a note to the troops - we'll have notecards provided. :santa:

TSAC has graciously allowed me to mention that a Blue Box for toy donations will be placed next to the TSAC Box. and will remain until Dec. 10th

These donations will be for the Peterson Air Force Families who are here in the states but have a Mom or Dad serving abroad.
Toys and/or something for Mom and Dad at home are greatly appreciated.

Many thanks to TSAC for allowing us to be mentioned. What a lovely group! :USA: :patriot:
Oh how we want to be a blessing and say thank you to our beloved troops families. :USA: :patriot:

Don't forget, TSAC volunteers will be at the King Soopers today, 10:00 to 2:00.

Please help make our Colorado National Guard troops feel a bit of home this Christmas. Stop by and make a donation for this special holiday shipment.

Thank you!!!

After I get done with the parade, I'll stop by. Might be able to bring some vets with me.

That would be great, mountainvet. TSAC has a nice display of the troops we have supported and are supporting that you may enjoy seeing. And we always enjoy talking with veterans. :)

I don't have any pictures today. :( So, picture this in your mind:

It's snowing and below freezing. The sky is gray and frozen looking.

The TSAC team members are bundled up in heavy coats, hats, scarves, gloves, snow boots, long johns (but of course you can't see these so don't picture this).

The borrowed canopy is covered with snow and just fell on the table. Well, this didn't really happen (I hope), I just wanted to see how closely you were reading this.

They're there in this cold and snow, waiting for YOU to come by and give them a warm hello and maybe donate something for the troops.

You have 40 minutes to shut down your computer, put on your coat and get over to the Aspen Park King Soopers.

Tiller - Ya got it all wrong. They needed shorts today! Now that's a picture to try and imagine. 8O ....Don't feel sorry for them...they just want you to think it was cold and snowy. But the bells, I bet they will hear bells ringing all night.

What a fabulous weekend TSAC had. Between the door event at King Soopers and the 2nd Annual Cookie Bake-a-Thon today I am absolutely exhausted. BUT . . . stay tuned, because tomorrow there will be pictures of both events. I even have pictures of the vole that was at the bake-a-thon!! And Mopar stuck in the driveway. And a whole lot of folks having a great time, making an unbelievable amount of cookies to ship to the 169th in Tikrit!
