TSAC has recently found a new unit to support in Afghanistan - as many of you may have read in this forum.
In our exchange of emails with our contact we always ask them to send us a LIST of things they might wish to see in future shipments.

Here is the latest response from "Jim" - our contact in this USAF unit:

Sorry for the delayed response, coming off a few busy weeks. Looked through the website and the organization is very well done. We received five boxes of popcorn, coffee, steak strips, the mini flashlights, etc. Great stuff!! I distributed them to the C-130 folks out of Arkansas, EC-130 out of Arizona, MXS and AMXS supers, and Group leadership who are from everywhere. Pictures of the boxes attached, came in great condition. Also started a request list and here is what we have so far.

13 more boxes!! You all are amazing. I will keep distributing them to all the other squadrons in our unit. Everyone is very grateful and realizes how awesome Colorado folks are as well, good stuff.

As always thanks for the tremendous support.

Cheers,
Jim

We are really "liking" this man for his getting the troops to take us up on our offer to consider a "wish list" for the future!
Here is a photo of the "wish list" attached to the latest email:

Because so many of you out there in "pinecamland" have asked TSAC what they might consider for our donation needs, please consider that "request" list above.
I have advised "Jim" that TSAC is not likely to send bags of chips as they are mostly "air" and that is too expensive at $16.75 per APO Flat Rate box!
Chocolate seems to be a high priority (maybe you got that from the list) so we will "test" shipping a small amount to see how it survives the intense summer heat over there.
Whole bean coffee is very popular if you can find some at a price that agrees with you.
We will try going through Boyer's Coffee again as we did with our previous Army unit.

Please try to stop by King Soopers in Aspen Park on Saturday, 9 July, 2016, to visit TSAC as we hold a collection event.
We will display a number of our recently supported units and tell you about the reactions from the sandbox!
We would also be very grateful to accept donations in cash to cover our U.S.P.O costs.
Checks can be made payable to: TSAC and mailed to TSAC, P.O. Box 1238, Bailey, CO 80421.

Thank YOU!

The troops also THANK YOU!
