Welcome and enjoy your stay!!! When the sun goes down around here it really cools off so a light jacket or a fleece is always nice!!! Today we are having a cooling period but it is supposed to get warm again starting tomorrow so for daytime some shorts or cool clothes will be nice through the weekend. Just remember when the sun goes down it cools off quite a bit. Course that is a good time to buy a Colorado fleece or jacket too. Have a good time!!!!

Sis, have a great time!

I'd recommend bringing or buying a hat - the sun is a bit closer here at elevation and you will burn more easily. Also drink more water than you want to, and be aware of the possible effects of altitude sickness... tho it might be hard to tell if it's that or just the craziness of the rides!

sis our average shift beteen day and nite time temps if roughly 30 degrees so if its 80 during the day expect 50's in the evenig, Also you will loose roughly 3 degrees for every 1000 ft you go up ( this is important if your going up in the hills say to Pike peak which is right outside of the springs but is a 14er (14,000 ft elivation) IN addition to the water youll want some salts like peanuts, its so dry here that you wont feel the persperation and this could get you in trouble . Looking forward to seeing you all fri

Sis-
WAH-HOO indeed!
You're probably counting the HOURS now!

Please heed the preceding advice regarding altitude adjustment!!!
And pass the info on to others in your group!
HYDRATION is the key!
Moderation- (activity for the first coupla days
don't go scaling a 14-er on your first day!)
Snacks! Keep your blood sugar level up.
Layering your clothes- to adapt to temp. changes.
and HYDRATION!

We share your in your excitement! And want to be sure all of you enjoy
yourselves during your visit!

:applause: :patriot: :kewl:
