Pinedust and chocolove Pinedust is holding his bird out there for a reason and we were all glad at that point the bird couldn't fly..... :yikes:

Lo-bay Lady in a quiet moment. Unusual for her, I think, as she is so energetic and effervescent!

Patrizia, pacamom, and pacakid admiring kittens some kids were selling next to us. Patrizia's shirt is one that we received from the B Company as thanks for all TSAC sent to them in Iraq.

As I post this, the TSAC/Pinecammer team is setting up for today's (Sunday, July 3, 10:00 to 3:00) collection event. If you didn't get by Safeway yesterday, why not try to stop by today and sell hello and donate something for the troops. :USA:

cos and a couple of Pinecammers So many Pinecammers stopped by! Are YOU coming to Safeway today (July 3)????

Image

MsMam, Bubbles, and cos helping a lady unload boxed of items for the troops. Many, many people drove to Safeway just to drop off goodies for the troops!

Image

Henry, MsMam, and cos Do you think cos missed the clue that I was taking a photograph? Our mountain community is so generous that the Pinecam volunteers had to keep carrying stuff to their vehicles to make room for more donations. Way to go, Pinecammers and our mountain community!

This was a great event , and I want to salute the Pinecam Community. You people are awesome

We met retired military, that remember what it took to get the job done, and a lot of Moms and Dads whos kids are serving the country right now, some who have lost a loved one & then there were a few whos children are just embarking on a military career. Good luck

We are doing this to support these brave individuals - It is not much but it is what this small community can do.
Pinecam community, I salute you

You guys - I was reading Tiller's posts, and I have to tell you that even though Tiller did a FABULOUS job of saying how this mountain community supports our troops - I wanted to reinforce that....

There were many that came up and brought supplies already prepared (I thought about it due to the pic of the lady that Coz & I unloaded her truck - she had boxes of energy bars - and many other items!), and She knew ahead of time...

There were many of those.

Made me grin :) I thought I would pass it along :)

the one that really got me was a young man maybe 5-7 years old he came up and handed me 50 cents maybe not the biggest donation but you could tell by looking at him it was all he had and yes it was a sacrifice but he was glad and proud to do it.

Yeah :) There were a chunk of those - I met a lady with a $1, and that was all she had - but she had it to spare, and she chose our troops! :)

THANKS TO ALL! Each one made a difference!
