My son is being deployed today to IRAQ. I understand there are over 1000 men and women leaving with him today at 1200 noon. I would appreciate if you all could keep them close in your hearts and prayers. Thank you!

Your son has been added to our prayer list, Babe. (PM if you need to talk...)

I wish your son good luck in his mission and hope for the safety of all the troops headed out today. Thank you for the sacrifice your family is making. If there is anything the Troop Support Advisory Committee (TSAC) can do for your son please let us know. :wavingflag:

I'm retired Air Force so I know I can handle this. My son's name is PFC Christopher Rush (he is in the Army National Guard).

My ex shipped out today, too. He thinks he'll be back in a couple of months but I am very doubtful of that. Colorado Babe, you're not alone in your concerns, I will hold a prayer or two for your son.

Dear Babe,
My Son comes home tomorrow from Iraq but that will not deter me or my wife from keeping the string of prayers alive. Please send me a note privately so that we can make sure he is adopted along with the rest of his brave group. We will make sure that letters, goodies and any support we, and the members can offer will not be set aside.

Write or call if you need someone to talk to.

Or just go to:

Army Mom, My wife started this from scratch and even though our Son is home, the site lives and thrives.

All our Love and true understanding.

:love: :usaflag::usaflag: :usaflag: :waving:

If you are even monitoring this forum, I want you to know that while we celebrate the return of the 506th we have not lost an ounce of support for every soldier that is serving. I represent the Troop Support ACTION Committee, and we are supporting your son as well as all members of the Armed Forces. Let us know what we can do. I know that one of our members is planning on contacting you. We have a mission and we are on it !

I wish your son comfort

Stay strong and PM me any time

Peggy - Bubbles

Thanks everyone for your support. My son, Chris is doing good even though he has had some health issues. When he first go to Kuwait he got the shingles. Then when he finally recovered, he was bit by a spider on his mouth and his whole mouth swelled up and he had to get a shot. He says he is doing better now. He gets to call us real often. Sometimes 2 to 3 times a week which is a real relief. His unit has lost I think 20 guys already. It is so sad, it breaks my heart. Please continue to keep our troops in your prayers. Thanks once again!

Waukesha - I just read that your son is back, I'm sure you are enjoying every minute with him....I have added him to my prayer list as I know he is going through a lot of emotions right now....Tell him I said thank you for serving our country and that I appreciate every bit of his service. ..
