Kyle, now a Senior Airman, is once again headed to Iraq on Nov 18th. He's most likely going to Ramadi or Baghdad for 6 mos to 1 year.

He's completed all upgrade training and is now a fully certified Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC).

As always we're very proud of him and his brothers/sisters in harms way. We wish him godspeed and anxiously await his safe return some time next year.

Thanks again to all our friends and neighbors who frequently ask about him and offer their best wishes to him.

Just an update on Kyle...

He returned from his 3rd deployment (Mosul, Iraq) in late June and was recenty selected for promotion to Staff Sergeant.

Probably looking at April 08 for his next trip over to the sandbox but that's up in the air at this point.

Thanks to all who continue to offer their best wishes and support.

Please indulge me but it's time for a little more bragging.

Kyle has just completed Airman Leadership School at Dyess AFB, TX (a 6 week leadership and training program for non-commissioned officers).

At the graduation ceremony Kyle was awarded the John Levitow award - named in honor of one of two enlisted AF members to be awarded the Medal of Honor during the Viet Nam war. The award is presented to the student demonstrating outstanding leadership and scholastic qualities. The award selection is based on overall performance evaluation, academic ranking, and peer and staff ratings.

Well, SSgt Sharp (Kyle to most of us) is off to Iraq tomorrow for combat tour #5.

I'd appreciate good thoughts for him if you think about it.

Best wishes for your young man.

Let TSAC know what we can do for Kyle and his outfit, as before.
