Henry-
I know it's a long time after the fact, but I'm so sorry for what happened to all of you vietnam vets after coming home. I've heard way too many of those stories over the years. Thanks for what you did. |

Thanks for what you did. Thank you, hagbag. It's kind of you to say that. I'm happy to say that history has righted that wrong. It's gratifying to see that in today's world a soldier is appreciated and respected for the performance of his/her duty and is not blamed for the circumstances surrounding that duty. We've come a long way, baby. ![]() _________________ Quote: “Gentlemen, you can’t fight in here. This is the war room.” ~ President Merkin Muffley (Peter Sellers), Dr. Strangelove

Henry, you go ahead and get carried away! It was shameful the way you guys were treated back then. I was too little to know what was going on then, but my sister's service in Desert Storm (tho NOTHING compared to Viet-Nam and what you boys went through) gave me a new and deep appreciation for the Viet-Nam vets because they were included in so many of the 'Storm celebrations we attended. You are MUCH appreciated now, it's too bad it took so long. From our family, we thank you for your service and sacrifices!!!!!
