My family and I moved to Bailey a little over a year and a half ago. We love it here! The wildlife is fun to watch, and even an escaped barn animal or two wandering into the yard has made for some fun viewing.
I was born in Denver, but lived in the panhandle of Florida for almost 20 years. I wasn't built for heat and humidity. I am looking forward to spending the next 20 years and beyond up here in this beautiful place!

Welcome to Bailey and to pinecam!
We've been here for 7 years and love it, and pinecam is a wonderful social and info resource. Came in from Rochester NY for the sunshine and low humidity, mountains, and wildlife. Winters here are so much better than in upstate NY; actually feel like our past winter visits to Cocoa Beach Florida. As you may know from your past Colorado living, watch out for glare ice in shady spots and near Conifer.

Welcome!! We "just" moved here (Conifer) too. Its been 2 yrs for us and we LOVE it out here. Born in Buffalo, and grew up in Scotia NY, and the winters are so much better here. I love all the sunshine :) Like a bumper sticker I saw..Not a native, but got here as fast as I could.

Hi!! My family and I are new to Bailey also. We moved here a month ago and love it!! Kinda funny because we were in Denver for 3 years but prior to that Florida for 18. It is absolutely beautiful here. I love that we got away from all the people and are lucky enough to live in such a peaceful place. I saw my first mountain lion yesterday. I knew they were around but still adjusting. I have a 2 year old boy and two dogs so Im trying to make sure we are doing the right thing protecting our family. They are beautiful however. Anyways, glad to be here!!!

Yes, welcome to you two as well! Be sure to ask any questions you may have about living up here. Pinecam is such a great resource. :)
