We stopped at the Kenosha Cafe this past Sunday on the way to Breckenridge and had a fabulous Sunday morning brunch. I ordered the pulled pork & egg, breakfast burrito and my buddy ordered the homemade chicken pot pie. Both were outstanding!! Great Place. . . Great Food!!! Heading back for another burrito soon.

My family ate there in October. It was confusing. We did catch on to the sign at the counter "PLACE ORDERS HERE"
so we did, but we watched a couple that sat for 20 minutes and no one said come up front. We then got our own drinks bused our own tables. So why not hire a waitress? The food was really good and the place was squeaky clean, we would come back if the service part of the cafe has been addressed. So how about a review from some of you that have been since new owners. tks

There are four reviews in the last page or so of this thread - all positive!

We were there Sunday, ordered at the counter, self serve fountain drinks, waitress served us promptly, buses tables and the chef came and checked on us also...no complaints here....keep up the good work

Without a doubt this is the best little cafe around, in my opinion. I eat breakfast there at least once per week and I've grown quite fond of the staff. Outstanding food and service and, like others have said, it's incredibly clean.

They go out of their way to prepare my meals exactly as I ask without question.

Angela (AKA: "Suzie") even refills my coffee even though drinks are self-serve!

Highly recommend the breakfast burrito smothered in Zack's green chile. Fantastic!

We have stopped a few times now on our way to skiing. Highly recommend it for breakfast. Have not had anything else yet but I intend to go whenever I drive by. :dancing:

We have eaten there on several occassions and love their Reuben sandwich. The staff is very friendly and ordering at the counter and getting our own drinks is part of the ambience. Recommend it to everybody passing through or who live in the Bailey area as we do.

My wife and I stopped Mar 2 on way to go snow shoeing and we both had the pulled pork breakfast burrito with green chile on top. I believe this was the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. It was big enough we probbaly could have split one and been happy. I have no issues with ordering at the counter and self serve drinks, I understand a small cafe wanting/needing to keep overhead down. The owner is very clear and courteous with everyone helping them understand the process. We will definitely be back.

We each had those pulled pork burritos yesterday. they were wonderful. Full of goodness, the chili smothering them was fantastic, had a nice little kick but not overwhelmingly spicy. Coffee was excellent. Took food home, 20 bucks.

What's not to like?
