This class is designed for the novice handgun operator or those who are contemplating buying or using a handgun for defensive purposes.


This class features lots of hands on training with various handgun types.
Plenty of time has been built into curriculum for the many questions that arise in a basic handgun class.

This class is structured for low stress, maximum learning on a subject many want to learn about but are too intimidated to ask about. Also, many new handgun students just don't know where to begin their training. This is the place to begin!

Class Subject Matter Includes:


1. Handgun/Shooting Safety
2. Introduction to Safe Handgun Storage
3. Handgun Parts and Terminology
4. Different Handgun Types
5. Proper Defensive Handgun Selection
6. Ammunition
7. Fundamentals of Shooting Accurately
8. Introduction to Target Shooting on our state of the art Laser Shot (tm) Simulator

All training conducted indoors so weather is not a factor.


Upon successful completion of this course many of our Handgun Basic students may choose to continue their handgun education by attending our Colorado Concealed Handgun Class (next one offered April 28th). If students enroll in both classes they will receive a $20.00 discount!

Just took the basic handgun class yesterday. I had absolutely no handgun experience and now feel confident in operating mine safely. Great class, great teachers! The simulator is awesome. Looking forward to the Concealed Carry class on the 28th. Well worth the money.
