Question..........are there different sized baskets? There are just two of us and I don't know that we would be able to eat it all before it spoils.

Another great question! There are not optional basket sizes, but if you get some extra you won't use - I freeze a lot of what I get, or I give it to another family who could use it too! Since you're saving $35 on average, giving some away doesn't make you lose out on much. :)

Thanks again EVERYONE who has signed up!!!! We should be ready to roll mid-November! I will definitely post when we're up and going!

Love our Mountain Community!!!

I hope some of you were able to get a basket at the Golden site today! Lots and lots of awesome stuff.
For $30 I got a regular basket, plus the hostess box add on. Here's what I brought home:

Romaine lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, celery, potatoes, corn on the cob, pineapple, honeydew, watermelon, bananas, and oranges. Except I made a couple of trades. One gal didn't want her corn or her potatoes, I didn't want the celery or the honeydew, so we swapped. I got an extra pineapple for volunteering.

Hostess box: grape tomatoes, red leaf lettuce, sweet potatoes, potatoes, celery, onions, cranberries, apples, 2 little sugar pumpkins, green beans, and tiny dried Indian corn.

WOW! What a haul!!

Bailey will be good to go once a site is confirmed.

There will be no baskets anywhere for the rest of November. The next opportunity will be to place an order starting Monday 12/3, with a pickup on Saturday 12/8.

If the Bailey site isn't up and running at that time, you can choose the Golden site instead.

Hope to see you all there!

We are still a go, but we now have the start date pushed back to the beginning of the new year!

As soon as all details are finalized, we'll announce it here!!!

Thanks so much everyone for helping get this started!!!

Enjoy your holiday season!

I'm still not seeing the Bailey/Crow Hill site on the Bountiful Baskets website. Is this now a no-go? Anyone have any info? I was really looking forward to this...

I'd gotten some info from them just before Christmas, and it seemed I had to go down to Arvada/Golden area to pick up. I opted out. I'd like more info, also.

I drive to Stapleton m-f I am not driving down the hill to just pick up veggies on a Saturday so I do hope it gets off the ground here! I haven't heard anything though since before Christmas.
